You’ve heard it preached from the pulpits of the Churches all across America, “Christians must obey Civil Government. That’s what the Bible teaches”. This teaching is a false teaching filled with error. The truth is that the Bible teaches that man and Civil Government must obey God, or suffer the consequences.
Did you ever ask yourself, “Where did we get the institution of Human Government?’
Let us go back to Genesis, chapter 9 and the Noachic Covenant. God establishes the sovereign institution of Human Government as ordained by Himself. Five points were clearly defined. First, the Covenant was with all mankind for perpetual generations. Second, the intent of Human Government as ordained by God, was that man was to govern for God. Third, Human Government was to preserve the image of God, that being man. Fourth, the means that man was to use to govern for God, was God’s Laws, Statutes, Precepts, covenants, commands, Ordinances and Promises. Again this covenant was for all mankind forever. (Genesis 9:9-12-16) God’s command was very clear. He gave man complete dominion over environment (Genesis 9: 1-3), but kept dominion of man Himself (Genesis 9: 4-7). The statute of the death penalty was given in Genesis 9: 4-7. The purpose of death was to preserve life. (Genesis 9:6) The fifth point is that, if man kept the first four provisions; he would be at peace with God. (See Genesis 9:1, 9-17).
But doesn’t the Bible teach that we must obey the government, even a godless corrupt government?
No, a thousand times no. (Acts 5: 29-32)
But why do so many preachers teach that Romans 13 say, we must obey the government, even a godless corrupt government?
There are several reasons for false teaching. The main reason is what known as a 501 © (3) and 508©(1)(a) tax status that is issued by the State to religious organizations. To receive a 501 © (3) tax status or State Ministry status, one must enter a covenant with the State. The church at this point ceases to be a Church and becomes a corporation. The structure of the corporation under a 501© (3) States is as follows: The state is the head; the Pastor of the corporation is an agent for the State. The corporation must have a board of directors and a constitution. The State then can confiscate the property of the corporation, such as buildings and all other property owned by the corporation. This is the reason for the misrepresentation of Roman 13 by so many Pastors from the pulpits of the 501© (3) corporations and 508(c)(1)(a) CORPORATE ENTITY CHURCHES.
508©(1)(a) CORPORATE ENTITY CHURCHES have some of the same functions of the 501(c)(3) non-profit corporations but with some additional State privileges. The Pastor is the agent for the State because of his minister’s license is from the Secretary of State’s Office in the State Capital of their state. He sets the State Church Policy of his membership to join his Church in violation of scripture and he is the overseer of any information he has in his possession to turn in to his employer, the state.
As this Pastor is also a UNITED STATES citizen under Public Policies of THE UNITED STATES by having the state documents on his PERSON of The De facto Non-Constitutional Public Policies of THE UNITED STATES. His true loyalty is to his god’s (Satan’s) government of this world.
His additional duties are like that of a true first amendment church such as having deacons and associate Pastors. Unlike a true first amendment church that ordains their Pastors, he personally appoints his Pastors and Deacons to their positions in his Church. He generally is a Fundamentalist in his approach of scripture, but is very subtle and cleaver with the twisting or words and phrases in his pullet teaching to his members. His members tend to have deeply rooted Anti-Social Personality Disorders associated with them. Outwardly, they appear to look like a real first amendment church with their messages from the pullet talking out on the issues of the world and the government, but with some overtones of censorship from those they are targeting in order turn in to the state agents. Their members are encouraged to talk to their Pastor on any matter of own personal sins and that of other members of the congressional in violation of Matthew 18:15-20. The Senor Pastor is their official voice of their congression and he tends to have a strong role of being a community activist on Biblical sins as he is generally a political figurehead of symbolism over substance in his own personal life, both publicly and privately.
True First Amendment Unregistered Pastors have no ties with the government since the Bible states in Matthew 6:24 that: “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” This true Pastor leads by example in all areas of his public and personal life with his walk with his Creator. “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Acts 5:29 and “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.” Isaiah 33:22. True Unregistered Pastors are Godly ordained men according to the scripture found in Matthew 10.
Since the true church has been called out to be the faithful Bride of her one and only husband Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul said to be the Church in Corinthians 11:2-3: “For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy; for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety. And so your minds should be corrupted from simplicity that is in Christ.” Though the church is now espoused to Christ, this marriage will not ultimately be consummated until the “Marriage Supper of the Lamb” following the return of Jesus for his Bride, the Church. In the meantime, the Church is to be purifying herself in eager anticipation of her Groom’s return for her. But just as Old Testament Israel was unfaithful to her husband and went “whoring” after other gods, so has the Church in America corrupted herself, as the Apostle feared, has indeed been beguiled by the Serpent, as was Eve. Rather than purifying herself in anticipation of Christ’s return, the Church has betrayed her espoused head and has literally join herself in an adulterous affair with another head, the civil government, otherwise known as the State and has thereby been neutralized from being the intended “salt” of our society. (Matthew 5:13)
How has this betrayal happened?
Reorganizing the local Church into tax-exempt and CORPORATE ENTITY corporations makes them by law controlled by the State. The Bible teaches that Christ is the head over all things to the Church (Ephesians 1:22), and that Christ will not share His glory with another. The Pastors and congregations have ignorantly (and to their shame) taken the idolatrous position that Jesus must share His headship over the Church with the State. Furthermore, except for a few brave souls, they refuse to see how great and abominable the sin is, and are refusing to repent and correct the error.
Incorporated and CORPORATE ENTRIES are not and cannot be true New Testament Churches in that:
· Corporations are created by the State, not by Jesus Christ.
· Their head and master, by law is the State, not Jesus Christ.
· Their final authority for faith and practice by law is their corporate charter and statute law, or the dictates of their Pastor and not the Bible.
· By law, their property belongs to the State, not to Almighty God.
· They must comply with all state codes, regulations, and rules of the agencies of the government. They are not independent of government control and Public Policies of THE UNITED STATES. They operate under the privilege status of local government zoning laws and not the natural laws of God’s Word.
· They must apply for an exemption status from their master, not Jesus Christ.
· Their Pastors do not have Biblical authority (Hebrews 13:7, 17; etc.) over their flocks but are mere hirelings (John 10:12) under authority of the corporate trustees.
· They have the same head as other 501© (3) and 508©(1)(a) organizations like Planned Parenthood, the NEA and many other godless organizations and CORPORATION SOLES.
When a Pastor or the members of a 501©(3) and 508©(1)(a) corporations takes a biblical stand that which is not lawful according to God but legal according to the State, they run the risk of losing their property, and/or the retirement of the Pastor. When the State takes that which is unlawful according to God and makes it legal by license, it commits an act of high treason against God. The State at this point sets itself up as a rival god. This is a violation of the First Commandment. (Exodus 20:3) A closer look at Romans 13 reveals what legitimate government is ordained of God compared to that which is illegitimate by acts of disobedience to God’s laws.
“Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained by God” (Romans 13:1)
You have heard it said that power corrupts and that absolute power corrupts absolutely. This statement is only half true. While it can be true that power corrupts, to say absolute power corrupts absolutely is to say that God is corrupt, since there is only one absolute power, that being God.
“Whosever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation” (Romans 13:2). This verse clearly states that to resist a government that is lawful (in compliance with God’s law) is to resist God. To obey government that resists God’s laws is to transgress the law and that is called sin.
“For rulers are not a terror to good works but to evil. Will thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good and thou shall have praise of the same” (Romans 13:3).
Since God’s purpose in ordaining government in the days of Noah was to restrain evil and promoted virtue, we are able to be in subjection to any government that fulfills this purpose. Our founding Fathers rejected King George III’s government for punishing good and rewarding evil. Christians are never under subjection to injustice or a government of wickedness. We are to reject any government that legalizes such sins as abortion, sodomy, gambling, unjust or unlawful taxes, pornography, etc.
“For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid: for he bearth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God: a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.” (Romans 13:4)
The officer of the State is ordained of God to minister that which is good. Therefore, the town’s Mayor is as much a minister of God as the local Pastor, but in a very different way. The Mayor is to conduct his office in a manner that is in subjection to God’s Laws.
For example, if an abortion mill sought permission to open its doors in a local town for the purpose of killing babies, the Mayor in obedience to God, must deny permission. If a police officer is called to arrest Christians for rescuing babies at an abortion mill, that officer is obligated not to hinder the Lord’s work. (Proverbs 24:10-12) He is also obligated to protect them from those that kill babies (John 3:16). If a Pastor tells a police officer that he must obey the government and arrest Christians for rescuing children, he commits several sins. First, that Pastor becomes a fearful liar (Rev. 21:8). Second, he hinders the Lords work (Proverbs 24:10-12). Third, he causes that police officer to sin by obeying man rather than God. (Acts 4:19, Acts 5:29)
“For this cause pay ye tribute also. For they are God’s ministers attending continually upon this very thing. Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear: honor to whom honor” (Roman’s 13:6-7)
Tribute is a tax that is levied on property. We must pay which is lawful according to the word of God. Custom is a tax on imports or exports; again, we must pay that which is lawful according to the Word of God.
“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both body and soul in hell”. (Matthew 10:28)
We can act boldly because “God hath given us the spirit of fear, but of power.” (II Timothy 1:7) We are to honor those who are in obedience to God. To honor the wicked just because they may be the officers of the State is sin. (Proverbs 24: 23-26, Jeremiah 5:1-4)
But, what if the officer of the State is not a Christian? Do God’s Laws apply to everyone?
Yes, according to the Noahic Covenant, God’s Laws apply to all mankind forever. (Genesis 9:16) We must obey God rather than men. To do otherwise is sin. (James 4:17)
“Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them”. (Ephesians 5:11)
“Ye adulterers and adulterernesses, Know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” (James 4:4)
“Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.” (Corinthians 10:21)
“The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.” (Matthew 13:38-39)
“For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor: yet what I shall choose I wot not. For I am in the strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better” (Philippians 1:21-23)
“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” (Ecclesiastes 11:7)
